Cycle Tracks Running a Promotion

Bicycle Film Fest Celebrates Amgen Tour Stopover in Monterey

The Museum of Monterey at the Stanton Center (MoM) announces an exciting film festival coinciding with the arrival of the AMGEN Tour of California on May 14, 2014. Monterey has been selected as a stopover and will host the start of Stage 4 from downtown Monterey to the beautiful Big Sur Coast south to Cambria.

The bicycle film fest kicks off on Saturday, May 10 with an afternoon showing of the animated film Triplets of Belleville, followed with an opening reception from 4:30-7:00 p.m., after which there will be an evening showing of Vittoria de Sica’s masterpiece The Bicycle Thief. The festival continues through Tuesday, May 13, 2014 with showings of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, Premium Rush and American Flyers.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Museum of Monterey-Stanton Center during regular opening hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday noon-5 p.m.)
